E.T. the Extraterrestrial - Cinester Theater

Anyway, I scanned every page of that thread and didn't find that anyone had done a mix of the E.T. riff. It's one of Cintester's first releases, and pretty good, but it is not for the amateur to mix. For one, it suffers from their sync lines being off, but more importantly, the version of the film they riffed, the 20th Anniversary Ed DVD, is just plain out of print. All currently available versions suffer from Spielberg regretting his Lucasing of his film, so theatrical release only.

So... I had to edit the riff track some. There are 2 additional scenes in the 20th Annv AND CGI effects that were added (and one changed line of dialogue). I obviously had to remove the jokes for the extra scenes and resync the riff after each one. I also had to remove a handful of jokes that were directed at changes made in the 20th Annv. Doesn't really cause enough dead air anywhere to notice, but there you are.

All that being said, here are 2 files for you.

My own encode of the bluray and mix of the audio:
E.T. the Extraterrestrial 1080p h265 CQ20RF encode; Riff audio mix and eng subtitles

And then the Cinester theater riff alone edited to sync with the Bluray (and the aforementioned jokes removed) for anyone who wants to make their own mix. There's no sync lines but it should line up exactly with the audio from the blu ray.

Thank you SO MUCH for the edited MP3! I was reaching my wits end trying to sync this f--king thing, changing tempo and crap to match the sync lines, I should have came straight to here before wasting hours of time (I attempted it to sync it months ago and got fed up then too). The edited MP3 was perfectly plug-and-play for me, now I just need to sync 1 more Cinester Theater riff to have their whole collection (It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown must be another one with a funky version of the movie)
