Hi there
For the last few days downloads from TPB have been VERY slow (0 kB/s - 25 kB/s), even though torrent has hundreds/thousands of seeds. Was wondering if TPB was having ddos attacks or other problems. I am located in Norway (if that helps), and I havent read anything about the internet companies here are blocking TPB. Am not having these problems with any other torrent sites.
Regards..

The speeds on your torrents have nothing to do with TPB being DDoSed or not. It's more likely your ISP is throttling your internet than TPB

and ONLY TPB ?!? Browsing, Netflix/Hulu/Spotify streaming, other torrent sites downloads etc work flawlessly

IT all depends on who seeds it. If someone on a modem has uploaded a torrent, obviously it would be slow.

You're mistaken--what you are claiming is literally impossible.
You don't download from TPB (or any other torrent site). So even if TPB were being DDoS'd that wouldn't affect your download speed. [If TPB were being constrained by someone in someway that would make it hard for you to find the torrent in the first place but, once you had found it, it wouldn't affect your downloading.]
You download the movie (or whatever) itself from peers, and there is nothing in the traffic streams flowing from peers to you that identifies where the torrent originated. ie. there is no way anyone could identify "TPB traffic" to be able to selectively interfere with it.

I know that, but it's only TPB that is slow, and for example the TPB homepage even loads slow.

Now you're talking about something completely different and I'm afraid I get suspicious when people change their stories halfway through--I'm out of here.
If you really do have a problem, good luck.

Either the web site is loading slow, or your torrent downloads are slow.
One of those is a site issue, the other isn't.
Make up your mind.

Since you people are not getting it, everything related to TPB is SLOW. Started just two days ago, torrent downloads are snailing, litteraly, I find the same torrent hosted elsewhere, boom!, no problem with download speed there. Yeah I know seeders speed matters since I've hosted DC++ servers and moderating 2 torrent sites back in the day, but before two days ago no changes have been made to the router/dns/utorrent settings at all. Guess it's just a funny coincidence that ONLY torrents from TPB are slow as hell..
