Copyrights Should Be Illegal
#1
Who agrees with me? At the very least after a year or so, and torrents should be legal. I'm also a Communist who hates Capitalism. I am 100% serious and have been using TPB since 2008. Before that I paid but then was no longer making enough and decided fuck that, plus how much wasn't worth paying a dime for.
The very idea that "Happy Birthday" is still under copyright nearly 100 years later so when sung in restaurants they have to sing that weird mutant version. A lot of people online disagree with me, but I doubt so many here!

I think copyright should exist so as to recognise the efforts of the work's originator and to stop people from making a quick buck from stealing credit, but I agree that lobby groups, governments, law enforcers, and the MAFIAA have gone too far.

I don't believe that gestapo-like enforcement is the way to go, so in some respect, I agree with you.

I think copyright should partially exist because independent creators put hard work into creating their own content, at least they can earn some $$$$ for their life. The MAFIAA & their other counterpart have overextended their stay and should be kicked right where it counts.

Some ways I say no to, some I respect to a certain extent. This one has an extent and the MAFIAA was never included in my extent.

I guess I should have added an option for should expire, but more than 10 years later. Yeah, there's also a difference between an artist/author and a big corporation.

Yes there is.

For copyright I would rather support an individual artist, not some big monopolized conglomerate corporation franchise.

A franchise that attacks the weak for the strong should be illegalised.

With all due respect (zero seems appropriate) OP is a fucking idiot. And anyone who has posted that FAILED to mention that little factoid are presumably idiots as well...

As a content creator, I have always given my music, software, and videos away for free. I have a day job. However, I would want to nut-punch someone if one of those Hollywood cunts were getting rich and famous off of one of my original songs.

It is mine. And I can give it away for free-- or even fucking pay someone to take it, but it is mine for seventy years and no one can take credit for it. Ever.

We also got to add licensing rights & distribution rights. Those need to go down too.

Wildcard, no one, even the OP, disagrees with you, so don't go on a rampage calling everyone idiots by random.

At least for me, I don't think draconian laws are necessary for the artists to actually profit.

I pirate a lot for twelve people, but when I can find a good price for a work that is not DRMed, I will pay for it.

Read once more before you make personal attacks, please.
