Confirmation email has broken link

Hi there.

Trying to open an account with the pirate bay, I registered and received a verification email, but the link in the email gives an error and does not connect me to the pirate bay so I can complete the registration.

What should I do?

OK, the link they sent was https: I changed it to http: now it says access to this site is blocked. :/

What shall I do?

^^ If you cannot access the official tpb site because of censorship, and you wish to log in and leave comments, you will need to get yourself a VPN. Seeing as none of the proxies/mirrors have absolutely anything to do with the pirate bay, it is unwise to submit your personal information to them, lest they be a scam or phishing site.

Maybe sending the link to someone else, who will just open it for you will do the trick?
I don't really know, never had such problem before - blocking stuff, I mean.

Install Torch Browser and try again. It may solve the problem if can't access the official TPB site.

PirateBrowser allows access to tpb too, but a browser only allows one to browse, not upload or leave comments.

I have the same problem. send a mail as well to ask TPB to help but have not received anything on the issue. I used the se recover link as well. receive a knew password but still cant login on TPB homepage, although i can log into the forum where my old password is still relevant. Strange so strange
