I still think you are all fantastic but I need to understand why, when I download some films, that I require Codecs and when I go to follow a link to obtain said codecs that I am asked to purchase a VPN and they then insinuating that I don't already have one. I always us a VPN  whenever I go on your site.
Is this the norm?
Once again thank you for your fantastic work.

It's spam rubbish.

If you want codecs, go here: www.codecguide.com.

When you're using that, go slowly; the setup program will try to install third party software. You must decline to not use the options, so go slowly and read carefully with what the options offer you.

That being said, have fun!

Sounds like you're downloading fake files (RE: Movie titles still in theaters, saying you need to go to some link.)
Uploaded by some new guy who ran into a gold mine of first run films on Blu-Ray? If that's the case,
you need to look for the signs of fakers and avoid them. There's probably a thread on that around here.

you're welcome...

movies wich still in theaters ususally needs about 3 or 4 month to have webrip/bdrip release. so be patient..
and look at trusted/vip movies uploader to avoid fakes...

have a good time watching your favorite films Smile

Get a good player like VLC. You will not need to download codecs.

General rule of thumb: ANYTHING that requests you to download ANYTHING is a booger.

Exceptions to this rule are *rare*. I can't think of any offhand.

There is some dipshit who sporges multiple pages of crap of videos that all are the same size. Immediate sign of scumware.

Legit codec download request - Case in point, by Microsoft Windows 10:
Image search got this one from Reddit; won't post my own as it's not in English and most people wouldn't understand anyway.

This happened to me trying a HEVC x265 video but shouldn't be, as I installed 10 over a 7 Home Premium with Media Center. But hey, it's Billy...

Just for test. Setting Win10 on old notebook I intend to give away.

Another case, this caused by NCH software (a decent company from Australia), makers of Express Rip, the fastest CD ripper.
After I installed their soft, each time I click on a FLAC file this box pops up.

Of course, in this case I just need to install any FLAC-capable media player to get rid of that.
