CodecPack is missing: Install the new Codec Pack

This has just recently appeared on my browser when I try and search for something. Now i just get a blank page when I type something in to the search field.
It's asking me/telling me that the CodecPack is missing. Is this safe to install? Anyone help?

No, it's definitely not safe to install.
Download and install this http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/10585395/ let it run and accept the recommendations it makes to delete/quarantine whatever it is that is fucking you up.

But from the looks, it looks it is unsafe. I would not install it.
