Can an audio track be taken from one movie and used in another?

Rip the new bad audio (from 3D movie) to audacity.
Add the desired audio under it (in same window).
Find a spot near beginning to see how delayed (forward or backward) it is.
Make adjustment to desired audio to make it match the bad.
Having done that... jump around the track to ensure you're still in sync.
You may luck out and only need to make the one adjustment.
If you note areas that go out of sync, adjust those too.
Save desired track in desired format and mux with the 3D video...

I've been trying to make this work and failing over and over again.

There's a Blue Ray DVD with the 3D anaglyph version for sale on Amazon for $10.... I'm going to buy it.
