Best "things" to use when making e-books
#1
For my scanning purposes, I use the following:

- a discontinued AGFA Smartscan flatbed scanner
- a GNU/Linux program called Simple-Scan

Normally, I use it to scan bills and important documents that I need a soft copy so I can store it somewhere safe.

Now, I want to scan some of my novels and share them.

Are what I have enough? If I scan too much, will the scanner's lightbulb pass out and die?

And how much time should I decide to dedicate to scanning an average novel?
