I understand that a virus could be intentionally inserted into the keygen or patch. But, without checking the file Avast always places the file in virus chest.
Does anyone know a way to get around to this?
Much appreciated!
it's the same reason windows tries to stop you installing it... it's cracked software and it recognises that that is what it looks like.
BTW - ditch avast, go get a cracked copy of bitdefender total security - does everything, or get a 90 day free trial... can just keep using temp emails to get new trials every 3 months..
But you could always just pay for it - strange concept i know.
I currently pay for nordvpn which i use for torrenting and streaming from o/s and it works great, costs about US 2.80-3.50 a month (got a 3 year plan with prepaid visa gift card from the shops BOUGHT WITH CASH)
While it works staggeringly well - no slow down at all for me... I've just realised Bitdefender costs about the same per month and you can cancel anytime... and it has it's own vpn built in.
So when my nord expires I might switch to paying for bitdefender for a/v etc and just use that vpn instead if it's any good.
I might use a trial first to test the vpn.
I'd suggest you consider paying for bitdefender personally - can't hurt to have some peace of mind with a/v esp when your torrenting a lot.
cheers
