Yes you can IMHO. My seedbox is unmeter but i only have limited disk space so I set the rtorrent to download and seed till 50 ratio for minimal 1 week times and max two weeks for helping with initial seeding to new torrent that i adopt.
You can pick whichever torrent with reasonable size for your cap bandwidth and i think even 10 ratio would greatly help for newly upload torrent.

lets see if i can explain with my broken english
The reseed request if I'm not mistaken was a request from someone who wants to download the old torrent but it's dead or only have small slow seeder (in case it's a big file) pointing towards uploader or anyone that downloaded the files for they to reseed.
This idea is for helping the uploader with their new torrent for doing some seeding to balancing the first swarm since we all know we have many hit n runners that never seed back. Since my box have 1Gbps network speed, it can finished before any other lechers and help with seeding process to speed up the swarm and helping turn more seeders. Without help, uploader with slow speed will suffer if all peers that finished never seed back. The swarm will stay slow since the uploader were the one that doing the seeding all the time at this first wave. Sometimes those impatient lechers also leaving some "nice" comment regarding this slow torrent.
With this system, at least all that trouble will be minimized.
Also worth to mention, it is a voluntary work. It's not necessary to adopt every torrent that being listed in this thread if we can't.
For instance like the big batch file of the gentleman on previous page, i can't help it seeding since the spare size left on my box are bellow that enormous size
