I wanted to suggest a new category in the Member Forums - Science.
In this section, people could discuss archaeology, astronomy, physics, etc.
If this section existed, I would be interested in starting a paleontology thread.
Thank you.

Cool idea, I'd be willing to moderate the science forum.

There aren't enough science based threads to warrant setting up a science forum, but feel free to start a bunch off to see the level of interest from other members. If they prove to be popular, maybe then we'll consider setting up a new forum.

OK.
I suppose I could begin a paleontology thread in General Discussion and if you decide to do a Science category later, you could move the thread over there.
Before I begin a thread like that, I need to ask you something.
How do you feel about longer-playing videos being posted on this site (25 minutes to an hour)?
The reason I ask this is because YouTube has some great paleontology documentaries. The paleontology thread would be even better with some interesting dinosaur and ancient life documentaries.
In addition to the documentaries, the thread could consist of paleontology news, paleo art, fossil photos, diagrams, etc.

That sounds alright to me. There are lots of threads in the music and movies forums that are video-heavy, so posting documentary videos is no problem. I agree with you that they'll add interest to the thread at hand, and you're welcome to post pics, art, and other visual aids. Good luck, and have fun.

Huh? I played with those test-tube thingies in school without blowing anything up -- that's about the sum of my scientific knowledge. But if you need someone to mod a thread on Kierkegaard . . .
