thanks

ps i meant vlc couldnt play this iso in 2d or 3d

im going to extract the iso using winrar to see what happens ( no idea what im doing but i may get somewhere ! )

you could try unpacking it, looks like a custom built 3d blu-ray iso anyhow (did not come from a retail disc).
winRAR will unpack it easily.

ok winrar took about 40mins to unpack the iso , now i have 2 new folders 1 called bdmv which is 23.7gb and 1 called certificate which is 0 bytes, i look in bdmv folder and find folder called stream contains ssif file thats 23.7gb but i dont know what to do with that as its not associated with any software on my pc, i used http://www.filefacts.net/search.php?ext=...rrer_id=ib but even they dont know what it is ! why do people upload stuff without explaining how to view it ?

reply i got on forum of group that made the jackass 3d file was..sure its easy.

two options
1--burn the .iso file to a blank BD25 and your done

2--mount the .iso with deamon tools lite or pro, then watch the disc with PowerDVD12 or equivalent software.

these are far superior in quality when compared to the .mkv rips found on the net. these are the actual BD25 disc, untouched audio, video about 95%+ the same as original quality.

my reply..thanks i used imgburn to burn iso to blank bd-r 25gb disk, now i can get it to play in 2d.

i go to my computer and right click the bdr disk and select open then i see bdmv folder and certificate, i doubleclick bdmv then doubleclick stream and i see file 00005 is 15.7gb and file 00006 is 8.1gb i rightclick the 8gb file and choose open with sview ( free software that plays 3d videos) but i get message ffmpeg couldnt stream information in e\bdmv\stream\0006.m2ts so what is the 8gb file ??

then i do same to 00005 file and sview plays jackass but its in 2d, i played another 3d video i already have on pc using sview to check my 3d monitor is working in 3d and it is so why no 3d on your files ? also whats the ssif 23gb file ?

thanks for any help, once i/we figure this out i will of course help out others facing same problem thanks so ive got jackass in 2d but not 3d so far !

reply i got from people who made jackass 3d iso .. you dont navigate in folders. if you burned it to a disc, just put it in your 3d bluray player. you cant open the folders on the computer and play 3d as 3D utilizes (2) 2D streams at once, which can only be done with a player.

its like you have purchased a new car and you are trying to drive it from the trunk...

just sit in the drivers seat and press play.

my reply to that was.. ok there's the problem i have normal bluray drive in pc not 3d bluray player attached to a tv ! i urge you to explain this on all your torrents( just add a short comment on them) so people dont waste their time like i have, i dont use a 3dtv or 3d bluray player i have a 3d pc monitor and shutter glasses , thanks for explaining anyway

next reply i got..well then you would want to download the .iso file, mount it on your PC with deamon tools lite, then watch the disc with powerdvd12. you didnt waste any time or bandwidth yet lol. when mounted, the disc is essentially IN a player. so you download the .iso, and after you 'mount' it to a virtual drive like F: or G: usually is what the program picks, its then technically in a player. so think of it as you have the disc in your external standard old plug in 3d blu ray player. well now you have to watch that .iso with powerdvd12 which is software that acts as a player that plays any disc. its really a simple concept once you understand that you can create any number of virtual drives on any pc. so you can watch any blu ray or 3d blu ray even if you dont have a drive on your pc at all. or just a dvd player. doesnt matter. as long as you have the file, the rest is easy.

so it seems i still have work to do but i havent wasted my bandwidth on a big file i cant use, ill let you know how i get on

cant get it to work in 3d i have daemon tools lite i mount the iso it then uses cyberlink i got https://thepiratebay.se/torrent/9386296/...hingLiu%5D today ive followed his install steps and it seems ok but when daemon opens it to play the mounted iso and after i click the 3d icon it says cyberlink is unable to enable 3d playback please use another 3d display device. so why is that ? can any1 else do what im trying ?? can you film yourself using damon tools and cyberlink to get this to work in 3d ??? this is proving to be a major hassle

ive asked 3dbd25 if another software could play the iso in 3d let me know as cyberlink is giving me hassle..what other software could i use ? and how do i get daemon tools to use it ? again step by step instructions please i really want to be able to use your torrents but i cant yet, thanks for any help

next reply from makers of jackass 3d iso.. ok nobody here said to use cyberlink.

USE POWERDVD12

so i replied.that link i showed you is to cyberlink power dvd 13 are you telling me there is something called powerdvd12 thats not made by cyberlink ? sorry if ive made error merry christmas ( i just googled powerdvd12 and that comes up with cyberlink power dvd 12 so am i missing something or does the jackass 3d iso creator not know that cyberlink make power dvd ??? )
