In July 2014, Samson announced on Twitter that a new Pink Floyd album titled The
Endless River would be released in November. Former backing vocalist Durga
McBroom said that the music came from a side project called "The Big Spliff",
recorded at the Division Bell sessions, and added that Gilmour and Mason had done
more recent work. The music features Wright, but Waters is not involved

Gilmour described the record as follows: “The Endless River has as its starting
point the music that came from the 1993 Division Bell sessions. We listened to
over 20 hours of the three of us playing together and selected the music we
wanted to work on for the new album. Over the last year we’ve added new parts,
re-recorded others and generally harnessed studio technology to make a 21st
century Pink Floyd album. With Rick gone, and with him the chance of ever
doing it again, it feels right that these revisited and reworked tracks should
be made available as part of our repertoire.”

Gilmour stated that The Endless River will be Pink Floyd's last album, saying:
"I think we have successfully commandeered the best of what there is ...
It's a shame, but this is the end.

Songs from Tsongas is the video release of a concert by the progressive rock
group Yes recorded live at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, Massachusetts, on May
15, 2004. The video features the entire concert performed that night, which
was part of the US leg of the band's 35th anniversary tour.

The setlist features songs from all eras of the band's career, including a
large number of progressive rock classics from their 1970s heyday, as well as
a rare performance from the band's 1969 début album, two tracks from the
band's 1980s pop rock era, and the first performance of the 1996 song
"Mind Drive" from the Keys to Ascension albums (the band had never performed
material from these recordings other than on the Open Your Eyes tour, when
they played "Children of Light")

Three years after the destruction of the Death Star, the Rebel Alliance has been driven
from their former base on Yavin IV by the Galactic Empire. Princess Leia leads a contingent,
which includes Han Solo and Luke Skywalker, in a new base on the icy planet Hoth. Luke
goes to investigate a possible meteor impact which turns out to be a probe droid sent by
Darth Vader in search of him, but is ambushed by a monstrous, furry wampa. While Han Solo
searches for him, Luke frees himself from the wampa's cave with his lightsaber, but soon
suffers from the sheer-cold temperatures of the snowy wasteland. The spirit of his late
mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, appears before him and instructs him to go to the system Dagobah
to train under Jedi Master Yoda. He is then found by Han, who uses the warmth of his dead
tauntaun for shelter, and brought back to base to recover....

music group label, included an exclusive bonus DVD featuring a 30 minute documentary called
"Hendrix And The Blues", originally created as part of the 'Martin Scorsese Presents The Blues'
series. As well as this, this bonus DVD also includes several Live tracks, including
"Johnny B. Goode" which was recorded live at Berkeley Community Theatre, Berkeley, California
on May 30. 1970, "Red House" and "In From The Storm", both of which were recorded live at
Isle Of Wight, England on August 30, 1970...

CCS - A's B's And Rarities 2004 [EAC - FLAC] (oan)

CCS - Collective Consciousness Society - was an unlikely collaboration between blues
traditionalist Alexis Korner [b. 19 April 1928, Paris, France, d. 1 January 1984, London,
England; vocals/guitar], producer Mickie Most [b. Michael Peter Hayes, 20 June 1938,
Aldershot, Hampshire, England, d. 30 May 2003, London, England], and arranger John Cameron
[b. 1944, England]. Formed in 1970, the unit revolved around Korner and long-time
associate Peter Thorup [b. 14 December 1948, d. 3 August 2007; vocals], plus several of
Britain’s leading jazz musicians, including Harry Beckett, Henry Lowther, Kenny Wheeler,
Les Condon [trumpets], Johnnie Watson, Don Lusher [trombones], Ronnie Ross, Danny Moss
[saxophones], Ray Warleigh [flute], Herbie Flowers, Spike Heatley [basses], Barry Morgan
and Tony Carr [drums] and Bill Le Sage [tuned percussion]. Although the exact line-up was
determined by availability, the unit’s commercial, brass-laden sound remained intact over
three albums enjoyed several hit singles, each of which was marked by Korner’s
distinctive growl. Their version of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Whole Lotta Love’, which served as the
theme to BBC television’s Top Of The Pops, reached number 13 in 1970, and the following year
they enjoyed two UK Top 10 entries with ‘Walkin’’ and ‘Tap Turns On The Water’ was
dissolved in 1973 when Korner and Thorup formed Snape with Boz Burrell [bass] and Ian Wallace
[drums], two former members of King Crimson
