You guys should remember the last movement by Bloc Quebecois movement to separate from Canada.

Lots of uproar if you were living in Quebec or any part of Canada.

We were at the brink of uneducation; I really wanted to learn French and preserve this union. I was actually worried sick.

Now, twenty years later, what do you think about the state of Quebec? Do you think that the move should have succeeded?

The current state of Québec? Corrupt to the marrow. A bunch of aplatventristes (servile people but "kneebenders" is more fitting) begging annually for péréquation (equalisation payments) from the ROC to live a socialist life they can't afford. There.

Twenty years? Now that you mention it, I started taking french classes here in Vancouver in 1997. Without immersion however....C'est un problème!
