Forrest Gump, again.
It was emotional the first time I watched it, but watching it again at my current age, I feel just as emotional as I have the first time.
The Irishman
I saw this a while ago. Just commenting now.
3.5 hours, but it keeps your attention. Interesting view of another take on the Hoffa disappearance.
Joe Pesci and Russell Buffalino stole the show... He is still a 1st class actor. Deniro and Pachino did well, but PesciĀ 2s hands down the best.
7/10
Also, there appears to be some artistic license with some of the facts (like who killed Crazy Joe)
Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019)
It sucks.
Boring as hell.
Disney's 'Song of the South' for the first time in probably 60 years. Not what I remembered as a kid, I loved the animation and songs but never understood the live action part. Still a good movie. As a documentary of the time - of the 40's and 50's not the post civil war era - it was interesting how society has changed their attitude toward political correctness.
Someday I'd like to find an unedited version of 'Fantasia' - I've seen the edited out clip and not sure why. So many foolish characters in it it doesn't make sense other than 'political correctness'.
The recent rise of skywalker movie, it was a good movie. Really liked the drama and the action. Hoping for a fourth movie.
