Hi folks,

I've downloaded the torrent below (Office 2013), but office aplications keep being closed as soon as I start them, although KMS activation was succesful. Before they close, a dialog box is shown: "Microsoft office cannot find your license for this application".

It seems that the problem is caused by sppsvc.exe, Software Protection Service.

Is there a way I can disable this service, in order to have no problems with Office installation

Open regedit and find the key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\sppsvc

In the right pane, right click on the Start entry and select Modify. Change the value to 4. Save and re-boot. This will disable sppsvc.exe from starting.

FYI: The actual sppsvc.exe is located at:

C:\Windows\system32\sppsvc.exe

Disabling sppsvc.exe may result in your machine running in notification mode. Personally, i'd remove your current version of Office with REVO Uninstaller and use one of Murphy78 uploads of office instead.

I discovered that the problem was due to Avast! I included KMS folder into the exceptions and the problem stoped, at least till now...

I'll try Murphy78 torrent in case the problem comes back....
