Everyone should be notified of whatever information they need to know. But having said that, you can't stop a guy from wanting to jump off a cliff even if you're sure that he won't go to heaven. A lot of torrent snatchers around here will ignore the warnings, but we can't do anything about it, can we? We'll just have to sit back and wait for what happens. If they fuck up, they'll realise that they have only themselves to blame.

I can understand that  . I am in the process of either downgrading my version of windows or even moving to linux after reading this. I had no idea that this was actually a thing. And i am sure that there are more out there that are unaware. I said the least, because in my mind this is something that needs to be addressed at. A warning like "Windows 10 records your download habits" on the torrent page would suffice.
I agree with that, which was what I was saying.

Great minds think alike. Smile
You can get the original windows 8.1 VL version with no updates on kat.cr

Dude, no one wants shitty windows 8.1, even without updates.

1. Even the base OS can potentially have some form of spyware
2. It sucks without updates, I can't even use it to host my infrastructure with all my laptops.
3. Its M$

The fact that your not getting is jesse, is the fact that all windows is closed-source, meaning nobody knows the hell they're using. Its prolly the biggest spyware based OS, in the world.

Get Linux bro, its where its at.
jesse, get Windows 7, or GNU/Linux.

If not, then we'll both disrepute you in this forum. Smile

But Joker has a point. Don't be me wrong, we still need Windows, but the right way is the GNU/Linux way. If Wine suddenly surges in compatibility of Windows software, I would leaving Windows 7 in no time. However, that won't be happening in the near future. All the same, use and learn GNU/Linux and the philosophy about free and open source software.
use this software and keep updated on any changes.

When do I run this? Immediately after installing Windows 10?
Do they have a version for windows 8.1 or does this work on 8.1 also?
Read the program description - it works for Windows 7-10. Enjoy.
I read the description but it does not say it works for 7-10??

It says:

Requires: Win 10
