A lot of the times I want to give feedback to the uploader who posted a respective torrent which I "borrowed", but I cannot find the original without spending a lot of time. Is there a way to find the torrent you "borrowed" easily?

My method of "borrowing" is to copy the link to Transmission running on my media player if that helps.

There is no way to really know.

About the only thing you can do is search its hash and see what the oldest record of it is.

And that is no guarantee either as the original may not be archived or may be deleted, and that original may be a derivative of someone else's torrent.
