Hi, guys. For the last couple of days, I've been seeing the dreaded red "Wrong code." regardless of whether I'm using VPN (TorGuard or PublicVPN) or my own dynamic IP from home. I've got 22 quality uploads on TPB at the moment, so I can't imagine that I'm banned. Have I just been hitting blocked/banned IPs at every stage? I have a couple of F1 torrents that I'd like to get uploaded.

Cheers!
1 of your IP addresses is banned, the other 2 are not. Post in the Account Issues forum where this can be discussed privately with staff/crew.
I am having this problem as well. =(

"Wrong Code" error can be for other reasons besides a banned IP, i myself have had a "Wrong Code" error uploading a German DVDRip with non english characters in the title and changing the title fixed the issue so check to see if any of these known issues are affecting your ability to upload

  • Title too long (No more than 64 char, including spaces) << Fixed in some categories (titles longer than 64 char are now truncated and cut off at the limit)
  • Description too long
  • url in title or description
  • File type included which is not allowed in certain categories (e.g .exe in movies, mp4 in audio etc)
  • .txt and/or .pdf files in upload posted in Music section
  • Torrent already exists ( Check if torrent already exists by pasting the exact filename you are attempting to upload @ Torrentz) to see if its already indexed in TPB
  • Too many files in torrent (Usually returns an "Entity Too Large" error) Archiving the files is a possible fix
  • .torrent filesize too big (about 270k is the limit for most .torrent files)
  • In Video HD (especially in porn section) if you try uploading a file smaller than 400MB regardless of weather it is a 720/1080p file it will return an error.
  • An ampersand "&" representing the word "and" in title will return an error.
  • Avoid if possible some unicode symbols/letters (e.g Ñ - Latin small letter N)

If you can't get to the root of the issue with a particular torrent after checking it against the above list then try a different upload and see if the problem persists.
I'm having same prob but have signed up here to hopefully fix it thanks Smile
I keep getting wrong code as well as error 4
@YaMoonSun

See your torrent title and torrent file name. If it contains any special characters than it might be the culprit. Remove them and try again.
I encoded Taking Woodstock [2009] DVDRip x264, and I keep getting "wrong code" despite typing the captcha correctly again and again.
If you are using Tor, then use this link ----> http://uj3wazyk5u4hnvtk.onion/

If not, then try uploading with a different browser.
