We have all seen the fake poster that puts up 3 pages of fake torrents several times a day with newly created user-ids. They are likely corporate in origin. They may be collecting IP addresses that are past on to Sandvine to identify IP that are connected to torrents.

My suggestion is to limit a first time posting of a new user to 1 torrent per day for the first week.

This would greatly reduce the amount of bandwidth abuse and allow identification of fakers early on.
