I have heard that the patch/hack for this is the same starting at version 9.23 through 9.41... So if anyone could locate this for me, I would appreciate it.

Have you tried to run the latest version, virtualized along with the old patch? Run a binary differencing software and it should be able to re-compile the original .exe along with its' .dll's
(It may be a little more involved than above but you have the basic outline)
I don't have the old patch to try that. If someone could locate it, I would surely try it.
