So I went to download the movie frozen (
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/9672296/F...264_-_YIFY) and go to click the get torrent link(magnetic) and absolutely nothing happens. Nothing opens at all. My utorrent is up to date and no known issues as far as I know. Any help is appreciated.
Two things. One: something is wrong with the magnetic link in which you should be able to download things that have more than ten seeders. I can confirm this as I am able to download through the option that is available with less than ten seeders. Two: Do not know why this was moved from site issues section to here as this has nothing to do with anything on my computer.

It has everything to do with your computer. If nothing happens when you click on a magnet link, then that is because your browser is not properly configured to handle magnet links.
All the site does is generate the link and place it on the page. If you can see it, then it has done it's job and the rest is up to your computer.
If the magnet link isn't there, or is malformed, and you aren't using a proxy, then it would be a site issue. But that is not the case.
Ok then. Well I am using Chrome through Windows Vista. May I now get some help on how to change my proxy settings so it works? Or do I have to just deal with it until google or utorrent fixes the problem?
Thanks for the info anyways. Just have to copy the magnet link and copy it into the add url link thing. Until some more info comes up.

it happened to me a while back. And I had to do what you do as far as copying it into the url link thing.
What caused my specific problem, was when there was a pop up window, and I accidentally clicked 'no' to not allow something. I forget exactly the command that came up. But then I messed up and clicked 'the don't remind me again' box. So I could not go back and click yes.
Nothing worked until I uninstalled chrome, rebooted, and reinstalled. I don't recall if I uninstalled utorrent or not. But anyways, next time the window pop up, I clicked to allow whatever it asked to allow, and then I clicked the 'do not remind me again' box. And all was good.
Please see if this helps.
Chrome not opening magnet links
Summary:
- Close Chrome
- Open Start Menu -> Run -> ' %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data'
- Open 'Local State' and locate 'protocol handler'; set "magnet": false.
