Manhattan Project dramatized histories from television:

Have been watching the TV series Manhattan lately, not bad, but I guess it left me wanting more as it led me to these two historical dramas . . . .

-the excellent 1989 TV movie (apology, is not a series) Day One --- tpb torrent
-the excellent 1980 BBC TV mini series (in seven parts) Oppenheimer --- tpb torrent

DEXTER - I absolutely love this show! I'm going to school right now and studying forensics  Big Grin
I watched season 1 of NSU German History X, a German crime drama series about the neo-Nazi National Socialist Underground and their killing spree, good stuff. TPB

Being a Snowhiter fan, I've watched a lot of his other torrents lately too: Locked Up (Vis a Vis), a Spanish women's prison drama, which was surprisingly gripping. TPB; Blå ögon (Blue Eyes), A Swedish drama thriller about right-wing politics, extremism and violence in Sweden TPB; and just finished the French crime drama series Le Chasseur (The Hunter), which focuses on a hitman whose manipulative mother runs the hitman agency he works for. TPB.
Catching up with black sails.

And watching mr robot season 2
Longmire S01 through S04. Really good show
Just finished Season 4 of Ray Donovan. Still going strong, though some of the domestic plotlines are getting boring. He needs to get divorced and concentrate on work.
I just finished this:

O.J. Made in America IMDB

It was very good. The reason it was good, is it was telling the story of the race tension in LA at the time.  It was not just about OJ and his crimes. It was really comprehensive, including the Rodney King Beating, the riots  afterwards, etc etc... It also showed how  the prosecution fucked up,  and how The defense played the race card. It also delved into OJ as a person...

I thought it was good!

Thanks to Spud's review, I finished watching 2 of 3 of the  German History X... I just need to finish the last part "the investigation". She sparked ,my interest as I love anything with WW2,  before, during and after... This is not just not tell a story about neo nazi's, but racism as a whole in a country that I'd like to say is fucked up, but truth be known there are people in the US an all over who feel this way about people.

****POSSIBLE SPOLER ALERTI'm glad to know my racism only goes as far as jokes, as I got so angry and almost physically sick, and sad to the point of tears the way these people were treated... Mad that the nazi were scaring a mother with a baby for standing on a lawn, sad when they (the German govt tried to fram the Muslim as a drug dealer after being shot by the neo nazis).. HOWEVER, one german detective, after nothing but the truth , uncovered this.****END OF SPOLER ALERT

I don't think I need to put a spoiler alert. but I did anyway just in case... This series is more than what I told... definitely recommend!!!

I'll continue to joke the way I do, since I want to let all know the words mean nothing... The only value is what people put into them, but All joikes aside, this was a series based in the 90's so I think people still are acting this way today... which is fucking SCARY AS HELL!!!

OH, Another racial series I'm watching is the prison show called OZ... An HBO special made before the Sopranos.. Edie Falco was  a C.O. Here before Marrying Tony Soprano... lemme find the info...........

IMDB - OZ

Describe the racial structure and life in prison. And how race takes a backseat to business/money.

I feel this show never got the push like it should... Most of the actors went to either the Soprano's, or moreso, Law And Order series...   10/10

Chris Keller, a sociopathic bisexual killer is now known better as Detective Elliott Stabler (one of my favorite all time characters in ANOTHER series I watch, LAW and ORDER, SVU)

OZ is real, gritty, and sopranolike epic.. Not sure why it's not more popular...

Because it's grim as fuck. Big Grin

I've watched Oz complete twice now and it sure makes you appreciate your own life a bit more. It's a good mix though, even has a few humourous moments, but overall the characters have nothing but doom and more doom to look forward to.

I just started watching a French spy thriller tv show called No Limit. Created by Luc Besson, it's more or less action from start to finish. Snowhiter just happens to have uploaded all 3 seasons, ideal for binge-watching.
