Is it safe to download torrents with a vpn connection but on the same time being connected to my facebook, youtube, origin or steam account?
is it possible that they are monitoring my whole activities from my ip?

vpn is more then enough to be protected

If you want to torrent safely, connect to your VPN with a secure service like OpenVPN (which will encrypt data between you and the peer). Then use your firewall and/or router to force bittorrent traffic through the VPN connection. Do not use your torrent program for VPN/proxy authentication as this will not adequately force encryption between you and the server you wish to tunnel through.

This. If you're doing anything bad, they would notify your isp and sometimes email. But if you're just surfing the internet for gorilla buttsex, you'll be fine
