If you like or dislike someone's post, you can manifest that by adding or removing one point to the user.
To do so, click on the reputation number of the user to bring his reputation history,
and click on "rate user" at the right center of the page so you will be able to choose the desired rating as well as write a comment to justify your opinion in a popup.
