Corey Yuen is back, this time with the "export cut" of Yes Madam! aka In the Line of Duty 2 aka Police Assassins 2. This upgrade is based on the recent much superior Eureka release and will offer immediately visible benefits over what Rifftrax used. Due to the bonkers alternate opening and generally more brisk pace of the export cut, I decided to stick with it instead of using the original theatrical cut. We all love Sammo, but he wasn't really integral to the film.

Most of the footage Rifftrax cut involves Fingers shenanigans and extended fight sequences... which... come on we are talking about the best part of the movie, why are we cutting that stuff. I also corrected a grievous oversight on the part of the riffers, good luck catching it.

Thanks Billy. I just noticed on a indexer that there is a 18.5 GB 2160p WEB-DL out there. I thought it might make a upgrade of the upgrade, but it is a longer version and Cantonese audio only.  Sad

Yeah that is the original theatrical version. The Eureka 1080p version of that has the english dub included and could probably be synced to fit the 2160p, but the version i used (and the Rifftrax version) is based on the export cut. Its a situation like Uninvited, where the international version has more footage than version Rifftrax used but would also cut over 5 minutes of riffs due to alternate opening scenes.
This happens all the time with martial arts films. Like "Police Story 3". Originally released uncut with a cheesy dub by work-for-hire voice actors. Then re-dubbed by Jackie Chan and Michelle Yeoh etc., for it's theatrical export,"SuperCop". The editing is also tightened up, but that results in some missing footage.
Thanks
Looks lovely! Thanks for the hard work, billythefist!!!
amazing work, thank you!
