Its Tuesday once again, but I decided to take a break from the Bill years of MST to throw out a special double feature... Martial Law 1 and 2! Plenty more scenes and some extended fight sequences to enjoy (including a completely cut action scene with Ms. Rothrock!)

The video here is 1080p encodes sourced directly from the 4K remuxes of the recent UHD release of both of these movies, meaning if you can find the 2160p remux files you can slide these synced audio tracks right in. I don't think they will work with the old blu-rays, I know for sure that the Martial Law 1 blu-ray would not sync up with the 4K release as they seem to be different transfers, so i didnt even bother checking Martial Law 2... basically, if you already have synced audio files for the 1080p blu-rays they likely wont match with the 4K UHD releases without extensive edits.

They mux up with the German 2160p FGT remuxes just fine, but they don't with the 4k transfer Vinegar Syndrome release. The 1080p VS looks better than the new German UHD. The UHD must be a upscaled version of an older transfer?

I'm assuming the VS and the German releases use the same transfer since they are both Multicom and the 4K blu is SDR. Do you have comparison images to show differences? When you say these don't sync up with the VS release, are you correcting for the intro title cards or is it simply not plug n play without timing correction?

It will sync at the beginning of the first scene, but starts drifting after the scene change.

What is the FPS on the VS release? If it is 23.976, you might be able to open the sync in audacity and use "change tempo" effect to speed it up 0.1%
