Yeah, there is a video on YT explaining the trick, it's pretty easy even if you don't have "download" link in archive.org item details page

First step is to download an .acsm file, containing data to download "borrowed" book; Adobe Digital Editions CAN download this as Encrypted PDF, then use Calibre & the DeDRM plugin to decrypt that PDF, and here you go

How do you get an .acsm file and what shall I do with it?

I didn't deal with such books yet, but in the video he looks for the link in the page's source code
