I took a shot in the dark at a reel-to-reel tape on e-bay that claimed to be Spider-man serial episodes from '72.

It turned out to be a legit. A one direction dual track mono of 10 episodes presenting a story driven version of "From Beyond the Grave".  Buddah records used about half of this on The Amazing Spider-Man: From Beyond The Grave - A Rockomic  This version dumps the songs and focuses on the story in a much longer version over 10 episodes.

I can't find anything about this serialized version on the internetz.

Nice find. Maybe there was a radio project that fell through so they repurposed the audio for the album.

kitcastuff isn't sharing the record, they are sharing extended audio that they clearly state was USED in the record.

The youtube upload also shows paperwork that says "Radio Serialization" and if you bothered to listen to what was uploaded, the episodes say things like "tune in tomorrow", so there does appear to be some more to the story of this audio, which is what I was speculating on.

Yes, there is a plethora of information about the record, but this is not just the record.
