TPB depends on the ad revenue from people using the native TPB interface. A public API would starve TPB of operating funds.

But,there are many who scrape piratebay(like jackett). I don't oppose piratebay admodel. but,i think api would be nice

Maybe a paid API / service, to avoid hurting the financial sustainability of TPB?

An API for a project is a must, this my opinion! I think every project should have a build in API, like b2b company data or any other type project

Update! Be sure you really need this API or any other API, this might be a challenging project to be done xD
