I am trying to contact an uploader on the Pirate Bay to reseed a dead torrent but noticed the comment section is not available. Can I find his or her contacts or email if I were to have a TPB account? Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Post a thread into the appropriate section and type "Reseed" somewhere in the topic if you can't contact the sender.

The truth is, there are no surefire ways to contact an uploader if he or she is long-gone from either site, but consider my recommendation as a backup point.

I hope you can contact them, but I think chances are slim to none if you can't find them. TPB does not keep contacts or e-mails, that's why I said that there are no surefire ways to do so.

Good luck.

Er actually RobertX, as an email addy is required to register an account, TPB does keep emails but only the crew has access to them.

Should uploaders ever lose access to their account (for eg they've forgotten their password), they'll need to tell us their email so we can verify they're the account holder.

It doesn't matter though, your advice about creating a reseed request was spot on and is the best way to ask for help. Smile

ArtoriusFrostt - even if you had a tpb account, you would not be able to email an individual uploader because their email (and other personal details) are confidential, and we don't share that info with anyone, ever. The uploader you're trying to contact by the way hasn't been active in a long time, but there's a chance someone out there may still have what you're after in their torrent client and is able to seed them for you.

I don't know if this will be helpful to you or not, but if you have no luck getting a reseed on the tpb games, you could always try other sites:

^^ some of those appear to have seeds but I'm not sure if they're the exact ones you're looking for, as I have no clue about games at all. Tongue

At least I'm half-right then. Smile

Thank you for replying Robert, I had used the Requests section to do just that, but it seems that the thread is populated by other users requesting i believe, Flight-Simulator Aviation add-ons? Though the chances are slim, i hope someone that has those files someday come across my request and fulfill it.

Thank you so much for responding to my post as i appreciate any help i get, but i have looked into the link you have sent me and most of them are DVD's/ISO's while some are Pre-cracked instead of the Individual "setup.exe" files with the old build versions which i was looking for.

I have been at this for a month and a half now scouring multiple sites, torrent and few forums with no avail. Then, I finally came across the uploader's posts 2 weeks ago with huge relief that i can finally download what i was looking for but this time, there were no active seeders. Confused

My apologies, if it's too much but Is it possible for you to email the uploader to reseed his posts? or perhaps a comment on his torrent post for me in hopes of him seeing it?  Sad .

Although i'm starting to wear out, i still believe a small number of those games are either scattered throughout the web or someone out there has all those files on their computer. I'm not giving up just yet. :')
If all else fails try Usenet. Many servers offer single 'blocks' of around 100Gb for a few dollars.
Then search for a good NZB Indexer.
Use that with SABnzbd to download.

Going back more than a few years on the games groups with a normal client like Forte Agent will take forever, and fill up a hard drive just with listings.

Or.....

My apologies for not being clear enough. Actually, I was looking for games that was published under Reflexive Arcade. I requested a reseed of a torrent which had individual Setup files of games with a 60 minute demo published by Reflexive Arcade with the old build versions.

But when i made that request in the Request section, the forum was majority populated by posts of add-on's for flight simulator? So, i think it overshadowed my request prompting less exposure and discussion.

My post can be seen here, https://pirates-forum.org/Thread-Request...Discussion

As for my initial request, Perhaps this torrent may give you a better idea of what i seek?

If 7 or more days have elapsed and your request thread has still gone unanswered, you can always bump it by simply typing "Bump" and thus move it to the top of the pile.

I'm seeing two live torrents (seeded) from 2008.
The 22Gb *might* be infected (archives as .exe's). And may require 32 bit XP.

Might work in a VM.....
Boogers or not.

On your original req I am seeing no seeders, and a Dutch peer at 36%.
It might be in the 22Gb 'T' section
