Here's the latest post on the Kickstarter 2020 page...

Sad that they have to postpone Hobgoblins Live but it's for the best. I hope to see it when they are able to.  Sad
Hopefully by August things will be better for getting to the theater.
Just a thought but there was (is ... not sure if they are still doing anything) a riffing group on Youtube called Cinematic For The People and they would riff on movies but the 6 riffers were on the side of the screen kinda Brady Bunch/Hollywood Squares style ... could the guys try a riff that way? Not the live show but as an alternative method.

EDIT: From what I have seen of CFTP they were doing it live
I don't know if they would, I think a big part of the point of the live ones is the live audience
I wasn't suggesting to have that replace the live show just something different to try as a different venue/format.
Having a studio riff (or two) of The Room didn't stop The Room Live Show from being great. They should give us that for this in the meantime.
Or other extras for the backers because 2020's projects will be pushed into 2021 unless they do Amityville in December.
I'm just glad they're putting safety first.

Sounds like the plan is to shoot them on the same week in October, show Amityville live on its scheduled date and show the other one, taped, a short time later, probably before 2020 is over. Whether any of that happens will become more clear over the summer.
