Just curious how many people on here screen movies for the sole reason of riffing it with other people. Would love to hear some fun stories of your riffs!

We've done well over a hundred formal riffs in the last 15 years and I'll share some stories when I have a minute.
Hello

YES! I have screening parties all the time and if you dont know not like I'm short on things to show

However, the riffting at my screenings goes a tad different , we make a game of it have things we look for , poormans version of stars, even a form of bingo , and yes we even do the Funny line or two  but that really comes when everyone has seen the movie a few times  , which is rare , mostly its me with the one liners

Thanks

PS.  i was thinking about hosting a online screening and doing a virtual version on what i do at my live screening but ................ i guess you can fill in the blank
I coordinated with RiffTrax and a library in Saint Louis to host a free screening of The Matrix Riff in their auditorium. RiffTrax gave me the blessing with no strings attached. I provided soft drinks, water, and popcorn.

(Yes, I had to clear the movie through the library's licenses and permissions.)

Possibly the first free public screening of a RiffTrax-synched movie. This would be fairly soon after The Matrix riff was released. I can only hope that a few caught the bug and are RiffTrax fans (and patrons) to this day.
My wife and I have been circling a few movies we'd like to do for fun.

We used to, back in the MST3K days. We'd do it at local conventions and get tons of people. It's been a long time though.
