I dont know if this is the right place for questions like these, but I couldnt find another forum. My problem is this: When I download a torrent and start it with bittorrent (or limewire), it starts downloading for a few seconds and then it immediately goes back to '0 kb/s'. This is very annoying. Don't tell me I shouldnt download because I buy a lot of music as well.

So, you guys know what it could mean? It hasnt always been like this. Its not the internet connection because at school I have the same problem. I have a Macbook 2.4ghz intel

Perhaps a setting with a firewall? I am a computer noob and terms such as tcp/ip and proxies don't mean nothing to me.

Thanks in advance
This might be due to P2P blocking by ISP(s).

Make sure you are on a VPN.
For some torrents I download, it will connect to the network and find no peers, search for a while, then start. Does it always happens, even on a very popular one?
