Just tried to run No Man's Sky and found out Vulkan (runtime graphics API) will only run on 6th generation chips (i3-6100 and nVidia GT-630/MX-110) and up. That's the problem with deprecated "abandonhardware" - It may live decades, but won't keep up.
Innovation has it's price; as my current (old) car doesn't have a USB port or Bluetooth, my PC soon won't run new software. Windows 10 will run just because MS want's it to become popular, but truth is it's a machine from the Seven era and will not make it into 2022. I'll buy me a new one and keep old stuff on a VM XP/7.
