Hi - I'm looking for a more anonymous method (a) to receive/make payments, and also (b) to store value. Wondering if anyone here pays for stuff with coins other than Bitcoin and why? Is anyone using any privacy coins (Monero, Zcash, etc) either for payments and/or a store of value?
If you are going to buy contraband off the darknet, then probably monero is the way to go, as both account and transaction are encrypted.
I dont do crypto as I think of them as honey traps. They are no protection from the gestapo, since you must somehow fund them - unless you mine them - and those transfers are transparent.
If I was NSA I would simply track all transfers to monero type accounts, ID the owner, then put a tracer on all postal packages sent to residence, or all PO boxes owned. Easy to do since everything is tracked these days.
