Morbid? Yeah, I guess, but it is still real as fuck.

If something were to happen to me, I would want you guys to know. When someone disappears, it is easy to assume that they just got disinterested in the sites you share, or that they got married or busy at work...but I think I would like you guys to know what happened.

So, given recent losses, I have thought about this a little too much. I think it would be a good idea to at least designate some real life friend to tidy up your affairs after you are gone (if there is someone you trust enough to leave your info with / maybe your lawyer?)

But maybe, it is better just to fade away...then your legacy lives on after you are no more.

What do you think? Send a farewell out, or just ride off into the sunset?
Send a farewell, I've put alotta thought into this when I was younger too and always told my wife my info, but that's no longer able. So now it goes to my son, since he does the same stuff online/same pirating interests

Well, I would, but I don't want anything to happen to me in the first place, so I'll never know.
I just keep a sheet of paper with sites, accounts, passwords, and instructions "in case of". PC, mobile, router, everything.
Another way is to leave a text file named "EMMERGENCY ONLY" on the Windows (or Linux) destop. I don't use boot passwords.
Only problem is not letting visitors or kids using my laptop. And trusting relatives.
