Have I got some good News for you ....... Are you ready ????

I was able to track down the Version you asked for with the 3 "MISSING" Scenes ............

In 1998 a Special Edition DVD was released that Edited the 3 parts back in the movie, in 2010 a Blu-Ray was released which was the same as the DVD release minus the TV Commercial spot, and in 2019 there was a Remake movie

First off - thanks for all you efforts Shibby! These extras look cool! Unfortunately I should have been even more clear than I was, which is why my previous post denoted the runtime. Unfortunately, this is the same runtime as the copies I already own. And yes it does have 3 removed scenes, reinserted. But there are still more visceral and integral scenes missing. 9 minutes of which can be found on youtube. The person that mentioned starting work on a fanedit in January, also mentioned a bathroom scene that I remembered, but he thinks it goes near the beginning - even though my rusty memory tells me it was near the very end after the 9 minute scene found on youtube. I sure hate sayin all that, especially after all the trouble you went through. But golly gee TY anyhow! PS - Look for a DM me, about casting. Your friend, Miss MARTIAN (like I'm green and from Mars!) Thank you for doing all this. Do you have some of the obscure things like Separate Vacations (David Naughton and Jennifer Dale) or The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh (Patrick McGoohan/MacGoohan/That guy from the prisoner) or It Runs In The Family (also klnown as My Summer Story), the oft-forgotten sequel to A Christmas Story?

Normally I wouldn't dare ask as these are all rarer than hens teeth, but if anyone has them......

I'm a huge fan of the JDatE books but the movie just seemed like there was something off. Great for a small movie company though.

I wish more people would interact and we could really have a movie party

In fact, i was thinking about hosting a online video party , but unless i get feedback IDK if people would like it or not

Per your request I know i have it run in the family and i thik i have the other 2 aswell
I will upload them when i find them in my collection ....... these maybe in the DVD Vault somewhere

I hear you there the books are a it more Sirreal but i do think that is part of the READING EXPERENCE vs the WATCHING EXPERENCE

Think Sutter Kaine in the movie IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS how reading his books gave a surreal feeling, and even in real life what about H.P. Lovecraft Reading his works is one thing Audiobooks of his work is another , which brings me to my point in a long way that showing Visuals in a watching experence to these short of things will always run "FLAT" because of the READING SURREAL context

But hey thats just some of my thoughts

@shibby, I agree totally. A lot of reading vs. movies is how we perceive it compared to how a movie shows it to us. As always, thanks for the ups.
