I tried to visit the onion website of The Pirate Bay using the following address in the tor browser:
http://uj3wazyk5u4hnvtk.onion/
Except the website does not load. It sits there with the loading animation indefinitely and does not load the website
Maybe try again?? It was a bit slow for me but I eventually got the site.
Sometimes Tor fails but if you wit and try again, I've noted it usually corrects...
Make sure you are using the TOR browser, otherwise just try a new TOR circuit.

My Tor browser just went through an update... Did you try the "new Identity" or "new tor circut?"
If the proxy server is refusing connections, try a new proxy server; couldn't hurt?
