Buy an Android if you want to choose between many programs. The system is open and iOS is not. You will regret if you buy an Apple iPad and try to download stuff believe me.

Buy, like me, an Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. Then you have a world of programs to choose between, and it works like a small computer.

Go for the Samsung Smile

I agree with PirateDroid's suggestion. There are things Android supports that iOS doesn't or won't. Torrenting and free tethering are two things that come to mind. Android is also a lot more customizable that iOS in my opinion.

i have a 2013 nexus 7 i play games on it mostly from PirateDroid lol
I use aTorrent - Torrent Downloader to download torrents if i have too
https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...ow.torrent

then for playing videos i use DicePlayer it plays - AVI,MOV,MKV,FLV,AVI,3GP,3G2,ASF,WMV,MP4,M4V,TS,MTP,M2TS almost anything

I'm an android person I dont like over priced ipads

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is okay but I just dont like Samsung's touch wiz UI and all that extra unnecessary stuff
@angelmartin you'd do great with a 32gb nexus 7..And its vanilla android so you'll always get the latest android updates
