two noob questions
#1
Hi

First post, so I apologize in advance if this is a well-beaten dead horse.

If this is the wrong place - please point me in the right direction...

How do you protect your credit card info? I've heard about services that broker purchases by taking your info, and providing you with THEIR info for making purchases. But I don't even know how to write the correct search...

AND

When I go to letmewatchthis.pl it asks for cc info (which is why I'm askng the first question).

Any opinions on them? Safe? Risky? Suicidal?

Thanks!

You protect your credit card info by not giving it to people you don't trust.

As in scammy web sites offering questionable services.

What he said. If a file sharing site asks you for a credit card, it's a scam, plain and simple. And unless you're in the habit of giving away your money to slick, professional thieves, don't give them a credit card.
