troll rampage

it seems that ACE, MPA, RIAA and other trolls are on the warpath attacking EZTV and probably TPB, Lime and others too.

It seems that trolls are trying to indulge in site blocking. Some places trolls can block anything they do not like.

Trolls have been attacking American ISPs and demanding names and addresses probably wanting to shake them down.

In Canada an ISP is fighting a troll blocking attack which I have been following with Google Alerts.

Trolls are probably not the correct term. Korps are probably more appropriate.

They have been shaking down ISPs for years to send out 'pink slips' to P2P users.
Its the reason to use a VPN or an offshore proxy.

TPB is under constant attack. Cloudflare supposedly has 'protective' mechanisms, which do not always work.

But it is scary that certain things seem to be removed poste-haste if the gestapo dont like it. 3D gun files, korporate leaks, and the New Zealand shooter video did not seem to last long - come to mind.
Right now those bassturds dont seem to really care about videos and porn. Just part of bread-and-circuses for the lumpenproletariat.

Korps and gestapo are often at opposite ends.
Korps got the Brits to enforce MPAA crap. Brits got VPNs.
Gestapo chewed the asses out of the Brits for VPN traffic increase.
They couldnt spy as easily on everyone.

On VPN: I have already lost at least a half dozen servers. (Might have to update the providers lists).
One VPN site will connect fine UNTIL I connect to a certain politically incorrect website - then goes dead.

The VPN sector has also been under attack and many content blocks are watching known VPN operations for circumvention.

Tribler P2P client has a built-in VPN of sorts the cost more with more layers of privacy. It still needs a lot of work on it to be useful.
