the word "TORRENT" banned on the internet at my dorm
#1
Hi, since I arrived at my dorm at the university, I cannot download torrents, and if I write the word "torrent" on google, I cannot go to any site talking about it. How can I go around this and find a way to download torrents anyway?

Trying to download on a university network is never a good idea.

A VPN will work to get around their blocks, but not to mask the fact that you are moving large amounts of data.

A seedbox would be a better choice in this situation - preferably one that lets you also install a VPN server, so you can browse unhindered, but do your actual downloading off site.

HTML entities won't work in a URL.

Yea, you got me there. I was thinking of what System Folder wrote (72 is the hexadecimal for 114)
