WTF is HTC Darago?? Do you mean the Tattoo series?

Reset HTC Tattoo via Phone Buttons

- First turn off the phone, then press and hold the HOME and BACK buttons, and then briefly press the END CALL/POWER button.
- Press the ENTER button to begin the reset process.

You sure you did everything right?
Phone off, press and hold HOME+BACK buttons, while you are holding those 2, press the power button.
It should turn on, and you should see a screen like this


After that, just press the ENTER button (the big round one lol) and it will reset it.
From what I've seen, this isn't 100% achievable, you have to try many times.
