Mercury was big back in the 40's and 50's during the transition from 78rpm to 45rpm. Smash Records and Fontana Records have been seen on some boxes of vinyl here and there. Today after reshuffling labels are operated un Universal which is the main distributor.

I do not know if a Mercury Records collection exists as TPB has so many hits on Mercury making it hard to figure.

Mercury was popular in Jukeboxes of old while other labels spent cash on radio promotion.
