fakes suddenly vanished?

i noticed over at the forum

it is still empty

did the fakers suddenly stop or has the users seeing that the forum was down for a couple days think the forum was taken down in a raid and now still report via irc?

or did you now add a report button in the torrent description page or your automated fake catcher decide to do like some forums do and not make new posts visible to others until moderator has approved them?

or use some very difficult to solve captcha or used the new captcha talked about

is not empty and fakes are reported in that section and all have been cleared by staff

The threads are there. They are just not visible to you.

To make things more clear. You can see your reports just not from any other users. The reason you are not seeing any is because you haven't made one.

that needs to change because if someone reports something it should be for all to see.

maybe only to registered members and maybe until the torrent goes 404


because as it is now the board is just begging for duplicate reports because if i see an item and find it is fake then report it and someone has reported it before me now you have duplicate maybe even redundant reports.


i can understand that you may want to hid the posts because you want to prevent a media circus but that can be done with automatic locks and deletions once torrent goes 404.

I don't think that is for us to say. They should be aware of this and they must have their good reasons for going rogue on that department. I find it perfectly cool and if the mods don't mind to get duplicates then why should any ordinary user.
The rules used to be not to report any fakers before 30 minutes have passed. That could be extended to 1 hour if you ask me because Mods are not employees and they could be AFK anytime. It's highly unlikely that the ordinary fakers won't be taken out before that time. If you are going to report, then it would be for a spammer, CP or a "special" faker that was able to get away from the mods radar.
