Please enjoy one of my favorite "big job" remasters, the epic Star Wars Holiday Special.

I saw the very nice, easy to stream version kindly posted by Meat Trademark. This makes getting our Life Day on very convenient!

But Rifftrax titling the video "Upgraded SWHS Video" made me wonder: does it look better than the Zion Hybrid Edition I used?

Short answer: no, the frames I compared were as good or better (much better in the spoilers below) with the bsg4you edition.

That makes sense: 700kbps vs 308kbps. Plus, I don't think Rifftrax unearthed a version that the Star Wars fandom scene haven't circulated.

PS - i was able to get the Boba Fett cartoon off a Star Wars BluRay collection box set in a hidden extra. i had to crop a static frame and do a heavy denoise but the results look way, way better than the SWHS:
