I've done everything told. Still asking for activation.

are u sure u copied X-Plane.exe file into the x-plane 12 root? and also, while using the XP12 installer, pls don't touch anything on the installer or click cancel on the installer

Yes I did everything exactly the way I should.

On windows, you can use this X-Plane 11 DVD to activate past the demo. Mount the ISO before starting X-Plane 12.

You can use XP11 codex but that won't get you XP12 scenery

I'd wait for someone to post a proper crack of the XP12 scenery

Would it work if I burn the iso file onto a physical disk instead of mounting onto my pc?

You can, in fact, that would be even better than just mounting the ISO.
The installer/activation popup checks for the moment an X-Plane DVD appears in a disc drive, so you can just insert the disc when you see the popup in the demo

Here are some more detailed instructions:

Note: You MUST be on Windows 10/11 for this to work.

1. Download and install the X-Plane 12 demo from https://www.x-plane.com/desktop/try-it/

2. Download this X-Plane 11 DVD ISO: https://mega.nz/file/95YlwBDC#LwM9xFNKmD...SdSGNlLMAE

3. Mount the ISO by opening it as a file. You will see an X-Plane 11 install DVD.

4. Open the X-Plane 12 installer once again (the same one you used to install the demo). Choose "Update X-Plane".

5. You should see "1.4 GB of compressed data to be downloaded". Continue, and wait for the update to complete. 

6. With the ISO still mounted, click on "Fly Now"

You'll then have a full-fledged copy of X-Plane 12. Note that the global scenery hasn't been cracked yet, so you'll have to resort to third-party scenery, or the X-Plane 11 CODEX for now.

1. Install the X-Plane 12 Demo
2. Once the demo is done installing, open the .iso file
3. Navigate into X-Plane 11 till u find X-Plane.exe zip folder
4. Open it, copy x-plane.exe into the X-Plane 12 root folder
5. Run the installer to update again (since if u click the .exe straightaway, it will display error)
6. Once the update is done, u can now run x-plane 12 full version

and install Global Scenery XP11 into XP12 and rename Global Scenery to >> ( X-Plane 12 Global Scenery ) it works.

What do you mean by that? I run xplane 11/12 demo installer then insert the disk to get full version?

Yeah. Every time you start up the demo, you'll see a popup telling you to activate X-Plane. If you insert the disc on that screen, you should be good.
