You are wrong. Every binary is injectable and affected to dyld(DynamicLibraryDaemon). You could just make a dylib(DynamicLibrary)(on windows DLL) you inject into it to patch the offsets that require the server connection. The offsets you can get by reverse engineering the uncracked version and looking for symbols that indicates a DRM or looks like it or you could inject a debugger and find the currently used offsets and functions and look for them and patch them out. This would obviously require software engineering knowledge(I have).
