Why some people prefers filelockers instead of torrents?

So we have another reason like "International pricing and exploitation" or "Finnancial capability (costs)" ?

Filelockers, or Cyberlockers are stupid. Anyone who uses one is stupid.

.1 Easier (lot of people still don't know what torrents are/how to use them)
.2 If it's there, it's there (as oppose to torrents that are not seeded)
.3 Speeds are usually greater (depends on hosting company)

But we all remember how easy it can all go away as with old MegaUpload.
As oppose to torrent sites, if they go down content is still available through other torrent site or search engines.

As dear politux said in an another related thread
Everyone with half a brain knows TPB is superior to streaming because they ignore the DMCA.

Pirates who want just to share something free without needing advertisement or profit should just upload torrents here.

Uploading torrents, or posting content in direct link or streaming sites that respect DMCA is something pointless in the long run.

Some days, months, or years later you will see a dead or removed link because of a DMCA notice.

Uploading on TPB you manage to see your sharing work remaining active forever!

I think that the only bad thing in torrenting is that the torrents after some years may become inactive because of the lack of seeders.

But even in this problem there are the solutions of re-seeding requests or re-uploads.

So you said it yourself, both methods have their problems and there is a solution wich apply to both: Re-upload.
It is like tracker-based vs. tracker-less; both have falacies, problems, merits and potential.

Most problems, specially in a large scale like global file sharing and copyright, don't have a one-stop-shop solution.
I say both systems add to each other or, at least, can coexist very well.
